The Natural Health Centre has been providing quality complementary health care to Wellingtonians for over 20 years and has become an established and reliable practice offering a wide range of modalities, from the conservative to the leading-edge. Peter Waugh founded the Natural Health Centre in the early 1980s above the wholefood restaurant he co-owned, That’s Natural, in Manners Mall. Peter was developing a sole practice after returning from study in India in 1980. The centre evolved out of his desire to work in a group practice which provided a nurturing environment for both clients and therapists. The centre expanded as more rooms became available before moving to its current site in Courtenay Place in the early 1990s. The raison d’être of the Natural Health Centre continues as it began: to meet all client needs in a safe, comfortable environment, and to foster the personal and professional development of the therapists and staff. | |
