My name is Awhimai Brown.

I have a strong interest and passion in holistic body work and started massage when I was fifteen years of age.

I practice Therapeutic Massage and Mirimiri which is Maori Massage.  I gained the Certificate in Therapeutic Massage through the Wellington School of Massage Training back in 1999 and before this attuned to Reiki 1 and 2.   I was fortunate enough to train in Mirimiri through the late Mahinekura Reinfeld from Taranaki and within the last two years carried on the training in Mirimiri Healing through Rangimarie Sutherland at the Oasis Healing Centre, Upper Hutt.

Mirimiri is an ancient art of Maori healing comprising of massage and energy work, assisting the body on all dimensions allowing the sacredness of the healing to flow.
I am also currently in my fifth year of Gestalt Psychotherapy study and training.

Available on Saturdays for Therapeutic Massage/Mirimiri Healing through the Natural Health Centre.
