Waveney began in the natural health field in 1983 practicing and teaching Swedish Massage, and in 1986 began her studies with the Shiatsu College Aotearoa. She is one of the most experienced clinical therapists in her field in New Zealand.

Waveney has taught Shiatsu both privately and for the Shiatsu College Aotearoa, for the past 12 years. Please contact Waveney for information on upcoming Shiatsu classes.

Waveney has a long-term interest in meditation, with a background in Tai Chi and yoga. She is the mother of 2 grown children and lives in Kapiti, Wellington.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Massage, Diploma of Shiatsu (6 yrs training)
• Grade 1, 2 and 3 Cranio Sacral therapy
• Training in counselling, Thai massage, and various massage styles
